Can anyone tell me if "PCT 1.0" is suppose to be listed in Internet Explorer 6 in the security section under the advanced tab in Internet Options. I am having problems connecting to a bank website and I get a "Page cannot be displayed" error everytime i go to it. There is no PCT 1.0 listed in the security section and I am wondering if it is missing and that is why i cannot access this site. Thanks for the help

There is no pct 1.0 in ie6. Your problem lies elsewhere. Check your cypher strength, it should be 128. You can also search this forum for more help. I seem to remember seeing a post on this very subject. Good luck

Thanks for the reply. It was probably my post that you remeber reading. I am still having problems connecting to this one site and i can't figure it out. Every other site that i go to works but when i to to go to the Log In screen for this one bank website i get the error.

Try deleting your temp files, temp. internet files and cookies. Scandisk and defrag your hdd. I'm no expert on internet connections but it sounds like yours is ok if you can get to other sites. I would also call the bank and see if the problem is on their end. Other suggestions, in ie6 go to tools, internet options and set all to default. Add the web site to your trusted sites. You can also check your firewall to be sure that it is not blocking the intended web site. Good luck.
