Iwant to upgrade RAM memory. I purchased higher memory stick, but when i pulled old stick out they weren't exactly same. I want to know if PC-100 168 pin SDRAM DIMM's can be replaced with PC-133 168 pin SDRAM DIMM's?

The PC133 stick should work fine in your system however it will only be running at 100mhz unless you system supports the higher fsb so you wont see the extra increase in speed just the bigger size....there are however a few other complications that could arise based on RAM timings and BIOS settings, however most newer motherboards can automatically detect which settings to use so it will probably be ok.
The best way to test it is to put it in and see if your computer boots as you have bought it already! if it doesn't try changing BIOS settings,
a good place to see if ram will work for your system is www.crucial.com and select you motherboard/system - they guaranteee that all their memory will work or your money back!.

I was told that the sticks are backward compatable ! The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you put the larger stick in dimm slot #1 ! Good Luck,Nick
