I had to un install and re install windows on my computer therefore I lost everything and now I can not get Win ME to recognize my camera PLEASE HELP

Uninstall? Did you Format? Did you Install over ME? What kind of camera? Is this something that came with PC or added later? Is this USB? Does the device show up in Device Manager? Does the device show up as Problem in Device Manager or System info? Do you get any message when trying to use camera? What System do you have?
