I have decided to download a couple of games, incidently I did have these games on my p.c sometime ago downloaded from realone arcade,and they were great, however up pops a message now after i have downloaded them which states my 3d video card not properly installed and cannot play this game, what is the problem and how do I repair it, ? ?

What version of DirctX are you running ? Also when was the last time you checked for an updated driver for you video card ? The driver you are currently using may be out dated or have somehow gotten corrupted ! I would go to the web site for the cards manufactuer and see if they have an update. Without more information ,card type,driver being used ,DirectX version installed ,it will be hard for anyone to give you a more informed answer ! Run DirectX and do the test of your cards abilities .To do so go to the start button, run ,type dxdiag ,when directX opens run all the test and see what it reports on your cards performance .The lastest version of DirectX out is 9.0b !
