Okay I have two problems,

First I was trying to reinstall my two os's on my computer so i formated the two partitions then i installed win me then xp but i had problems in between right now i cannot boot into xp becuase i changed the drive letter using partition magic 7.0 to a different drive letter so that the two os drive letters would be the same drive letter references so against the warnings of it not working after i changed it becuase it was the boot volume i changed it and now i cannot get into xp (i thought i changed the boot volume but i guess i didnt)

Second problem is one of my other drives that was partitioned incorrectly because i was given incorrect help from my brother who doesnt like to help the people with less computer knowledge then him I used fat for a 60 gig partition or nfts i cannot remeber but now i cannot get into that drive it says that the version of file system is not supported

Any help would be greatly appreciated i been workking on this all day with lil progress so any help would be great thanks

well, for your second problem, if your only able to access win me, then the drive you can not access is formated in NTFS. partition magic should be able to see that its ntfs and you should be able to convert it to fat32. if you cant, then try it in dos. when in windows me, go to start/run/command this will bring up dos. then type in "convert" then the drive letter with : after it. so itll look something like

convert d:

only you would be replacing the "d" with the drive letter that you want to convert. that whould change that drive to fat 32 and youll have access again. as for your first problem, im not to sure. i dont deal with dual boot systems.

ok, your might have to try this. this is what i would do and if someone knows a better way, then please share. but find yourself a win2k pro boot disc. make the disc, then open it in My Computer. look for a command called CONVERT and copy and past it into the windows/commands folder. then go in dos and use that command. if that doesnt work, then try the boot disc from 98se. and follow the same steps.
