I recently have had alot of computer problems too much to explain ive used 26 gigs of 29 gig hard drive i plan on reinstalling ME so i would like to partition my drive so i can keep about 10 gigs of files. Im using partition magic i go through the steps and it recomends a partition after windows the error i get is a partition could not be created on drive 1. I suspect it has something to do with my drive being so full. Could someone please help me with this problem and also give me some recomendations once i reinstall ME on how to keep it clean and functioning properly so i dont have to reinstall again. THANX

Can't help with the partitioning error, Jim, but when you reinstall, go here http://www.computing.net/windowsme/wwwboard/forum/14062.html
and also make sure you scandisk and defrag regularly - once a month for casual use, once a week for power use, once a day if you're a PC lunatic who copies millions of gigs of files backwards and forwards all the time :)
