On a new install of windows me I have only one software problem. It is with a program called paperport. The print drivers will not install even with installing in safe mode. Any help? Walt

I'm using Paperport 6.1. It installed with no problems. It lets me select which twain device to use, my Visoneer 6100USB scanner or my Intel Web Cam. Seems to me when I did the install the program found an update on the web. Anyway, it is running under Me with no problems.

To jim. Check and see if you can print to paperport from another application. This is where my problem is.

Just tried printing using both the regular and color Paperport drivers. I can print both to the printer and to the paperport program. I just drag the file over to the Paperport printer icon and tell it to print. It brings up Paperport with the new document highlighted. Seems to work ok. One thing. I have to drag the file to the Paperport printer icon to get it into Paperport. When I set the Paperport printer as my default and go to a page and hit print, it still goes to the printer instead of Paperport. If I drag the document over to the Paperport printer icon a menu pops up asking me to 'print'or 'cancel'. Hitting print puts the document into Paperport. Hope that info helps.
