When I try and open my Outlook Express I get the error message "Msimn has caused an error in DIRECTDB.DLL. Msimn will now close." Then it says to restart my computer. Well, I've done that, and it doesn't fix it. I've tried some troubleshooting things from the Microsoft website and I get stuck. It tells me to move my messages.ods files to my dbx files. Well, I don't have the messages.ods file?! So, I can't get past that step. Can anyone help me?

bparends, SWAG, nothing better than a shot in the dark. OE's part of IE and now and again, something gets corrupted in it. Act like you want to remove IE in add/remove and you should get the 'repair' option. Give that a try with crossed fingers. HTH. Ed in Texas.
