Outlook Express and PStores.exe

Whenever I open outlook express, i get an error saying "Pstores has caused an error in Pstores.exe. Pstores will now close.". It does this 4 or 5 times before the program actually opens and it takes 4ever. I have tried deleting the pstores files but Outlook Express still loads extremely slow.
