I upgraded to IE6 and now Outlook Express is removing access to attachments it considers 'unsafe' I receive in my emails. I've never had this problem beofre and I know the senders, the attachments are safe. Why is Outlook doing this and how can I stop it?

Open outlook express and go to "Tools" "options" "security" and remove the tick from the checkbox "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" then click on "apply" "OK"

I personally like this system and since using it the number of virus I have had has been greatly reduced.I just remove it when I am expecting an attachment. Another tip is to have any attachments that arrive to have the mail highlighted in colour. You can do this by clicking on tools, message rules mail. 1, new, tick the box " Where the message has an attachment" then 2 below tick the box "Highlight it with colour" then 3 click on colour and choose a nice bright colour (red?)click "OK" "OK" Now whenever mail arrives containg an attachment it is in your choosen colour and you won't open it accidently!
