hi
everytime i try to send an e-mail through outlook express i get disconnected and a message appears saying host aol could not be found i used to be with freeserve and could use outlook express no problem could someone help me through the process of been able to use outlook express and aol

It is my understanding that the two are not compatible. Here is a link from Microsoft.

OUTLOOK EXPRESS AND AOL

There is software you could use such as EnetBot that would allow you to do so.

As a former AOL user, who spent countless hours trying to resolve the same problem; follow mesich's advice. It is the only way or drop AOL as I did.

hi mike, like you i have aol, and outlook express, and no they do not work together, which i can see why as you have your email on aol, so why use outlook express. if you want to use it then open a hotmail account as that works fine with it...
