I'm running a PIII 700 mhz with Windows ME and Outlook 2000. I've sent up an email account and have included both Pop3 and SMTP servers. Have double checked severl times to be sure I entered the correct server addresses. The problem I'm having is that when I go to send mail it says The SMTP server name you specified cannot be found. Please check the name and try again. Then if I cancel out of that it says the TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly teminated by your mail server. I've tried this with many different SMTP servers and I always get the same error. I called the ISP and they have no idea. The same configuration works fine on another computer running windows 98. I've run out of things to try. Does anybody have any ideas for me? Thanks
