Ok when you would boot the PC this error "operating system not found on any devices" would show up. So I dissconected the CDWR drive and the DVDROM and it boots fine. But if I hook the two drives back up then it says the same thing. What do I need to do to get this PC to boot properly with the CDROMS hooked up. By the way, they are on the IDE2 one is master one is slave.

hello i would recheck those jumpers on the dvd and cd-rom. have you tryed just the dvd or cd-rom alone if both work alone than i would still think you should look real close at there jumpers. allso if they boot singaly check in device manager for what i/o irq,s there useing. check in bios make sure its set to auto detect on both ide,s
