hi all can you help everytime i open find a file or folder i type in the folder or file i want my search finds it and when i want to open it,a box opens up asking what program i would like to open it with i never know which one to open it with any idea how i find the right program to open which ever file or folder i choose......cheers

mikeyb, there is probably an easier way, but this works for me. When the box opens up asking what to use, try the choices one at a time and don't tick the 'always open with' box and then go back and tick the always open with option after you locate one that works.That way, the problem won't recur. HTH.
