opening attatchments with xls exts.

Can't open email attatchments with xls extensions. Do not have Excel. Have tried to open with MS Word for windows and text is scattered. Do I need additional software to open these attatchments?

Why not go out and pay hundreds of dollars for MS office?? thats what bill gates would like you to do! then he'll release a newer version for you to spend MORE money on it's the Microsoft WAY!!!!!!!!
Use Linux !!!! Wipe windows!!!!
