Comment:
I want to look at pages as they were on the PC when I first downloaded them
When I open them in History they are automatically updated (and the page has changed) and if I am offline I just get page unavailable.
Can I set Windows to suit my purpose?

thanks
that is something I could have done but didn't.Can I look at them again somehow even though I didn't save them at the time?
I always thought this was possible .You know, sometimes I would open a page and realise that I needed to press refresh to get today's page.
I want to get that previous page but now all I get is either *page unavailable* or else it is bang up to date
