Office 2000 installation problems on ME

Try to install Office 2000 Pro on my laptop with ME. During installation process always an infowindow occurs: "Please insert the disk: MS Office 2000 Pro" and the installation ends. Any ideas?

Try this, if you hav enough still space in your harddisk, copy all the office installation files in your harddisk, to another partittion if any. Then restart the installation process, if the error still occurs, your installer files is maybe corrupted.

This program comes on 4 CDs as far as I remember from the last time I installed it. You install CD1, then CD2, etc. and when it asks for the CD mentioned above, it means CD1 again. Now this may be simplistic and not at all what you are looking for :) but if so, just ignore it.

1: I tried the installation from HDD, Didn't work, same problem.
2: Yes, CD was inside ;-)
3: Office 2000 Pro comes on 2 CD's, where CD No.2 is a CD with many extra tools.
I installed this version (same CD's) on Win XP, there i had no problem, just needed CD No.1!
