Does anybody know what this error on a blue screen could be in refernce to? I always get it when I am using ctrl. alt. delete to close programs. I have a new HP 7845 Pavilion PC with Windows ME installed. From other posts here, I see that some of these errors have something to do with the McAfee active shield being set incorrectly. But this screen always appears when I am trying to close out all running programs using ctrl. alt. delete. I turned on Dr. Watson, and had a blue screen crash while it was on. It told me that Win32 Kernel Core component attempted to access memory that does not exist. Module name: KERNEL32.DLL. Anybody know what that means? I have exchanged HP computers for 6 months now trying to get rid of these blue screens and other problems on them that HP can't seem to tell me the cause of. If anyone out there knows what this one means, I would appreciate a response. I also got a blue screen the other day when Windows was loading. First, I got a white box telling me explorer at the top and it said it had encountered an error, to press close or ignore to continue using the program. If I chose close I would lose any unsaved work. When I pressed close, I got the blue screen with the error OE:017F:BFF8E64B. Any ideas?

i suggest you uninstall Mcaffee, it causes
big problems with ME. there are much better
anti-virus programs out there. i'll bet if you get rid of it most of your problems will
disappear.
