Numerous names appearing in address book, all begin with"mail:John Doe@,Mail: Jane Doe@,Mail: Joe Blow @ etc. I did not enter this group of adresses, all appearing alphabetically under letter "M".Whay are they popping up. Happened once before and I manually deleted each one - now they are back!

Hi mogan david; Just a guess here. Trojans. Are you using an updated antivirus program? Are you current on Windows updates? Have you tried any free Trojan scans? RandyL

Thanks RandyL - Yes I have current anti virus by Norton, but have not tried any free trojan scans. Will select one from the net and see what it shows.

Thanks RandyL - Believe my original post may have been a bit confusing. Here's what happens. Open adress book, names appear alphabetically - scroll down to the letter "M" - now, names start appearing again like this Mail:Joe Adams, Mail: Jane Baker, MAil, Sue Carter, etc. All of thes names are legitimate names for my address book, but are duplicated beginning with the letter M. I did not enter names and addresses in this manner, and each one starting with the word Mail is a duplicate. Do I make myself clear?
