OE 6.0 display problems

Occasionally we receive emails that instead of where pictures the are supposed to appear there is instead a blank box with a red X in the upper lefthand corner that we cannot open up.

Iain Ross, as a 'rule of thumb', anytime you get an 'X' it's telling you that the machine couldn't locate the picture referenced for what ever reason. Usually, in my experience' the sender has simply pointed to a web based source that isn't available so the address can't be reconciled. I've found that it's cured if I first save the picture in question to my machine and THEN reference it in mail. Won't stop you from getting 'X'. but now you know why. HTH. Ed in Texas.
