Comment: Has anyone ever seen this "registry key" before and if so, what does it belong to? REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\G8:;6?;10] "¨k¿!"=hex:9f,5f,1f,1f

Reply: (edit)personally, what I would do is just delete it. If it wasn't there to begin with, and you know it wasn't, and you haven't loaded any new software, then obviuosly it doesn't belong there. Thats what I would do. Most likely its some sort of ad ware or spyware. Thats why you need something like 'winpatrol' that lets you know when new things are going into you registry. Its a great little program and you would be surprised how often things try and get put into the registry.
