Hello, Under certain programs, most notably icq 2000b, I get the error message "not enough memory available to run this program, quit one or more programs and try again"
I have played with the virtual memory settings, that didnt seem to help.
running ME with all the updates, autoupdate turned off, non web-ified, system restore turned off, most things out of auto-start cleaned out, (about 90 percent sys resources upon initial boot) - Have a p3 800 768 megs pc133 ram, os is on a 10,000rpm scsi 9 gig HD, 32meg ddr geforce-1 card, blah blah blah
if you need any other info, let me know - any insight would be helpfull!!
thanks in advance
Jeff

Try using MSCONFIG to disable some of your ram, like 2 banks and just try running with one bank in use. It might be the controller, are you sure that your mobo supports that much ram? Or maybe take the memory speed down to 100MHz?

Why don't you try reinstalling icq2000
that should do the trick
or maybe ur just running one to many programs on ur computer
