Original Message

Subject: norton scan problems
OS: me
CPU/Ram: 128
Comment:
my scan will never get passed this item. It shows in the path as it is running, a bunch of parrallel curvy vertical lines, that just keep adding curvy vertical lines, and goes on forever (well, not actually forever, or I wouldn't know it yet)
the path:

c/windows/application dadt/synantec/common client/ (then all those lines I was talking about)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Norton Antivirus.

I also seem to have a problem in the Zone Alarm files and the internet logs area.

I have run lavasoft,

deleted *.tmp files

uninstalled lavasoft

deleted Zone Alarm logs

Help would be appreciated

Tim, SWAG, what happens if you use copy to duplicate the filename, then search for it and once located, delete? Will the scan finish then?

I am sorry but I have to ask you some questions first:
- What do you mean by Norton scan? Virus scan (NAV)? or System scan (NU)?
- If it is NU, which version do you use? because there is an issue that NU 2000 is not compatible with Win Me. Use NU 2002 or get the latest one.

Thank you for all your kindness

Regards,
Fit :
