Norton Recycle Bin

Comment:
When I installed Norton Anti Virus it decided to protect the recycle bin. There now 1000 items in the bin. It looks like a lot of them are called window updates. Is it safe to delete all these files from the recycle bin? Thanks

depends who put it there and how long ago...but in the end, it really is not often that it is 100% fool proof safe to delete stuff from the recycle bin.
If you put the items there then you must rely on your own knowledge to determine that you or the system didnt really need them! If a program put them there then your safe.
If you dont really need the space then why bother...i know, if your anything like me then you want the whole lot to be tidy the whole time but the price to pay is sometimes not worth it!

And disable the protect...why carry that much garbage if you have dumped it once anyway ...
I'm Duel Booted and have it in ME and XP and took it off both... just dump the files which you will find are taking up a huge space... it's safe to do it ..
