I have used Ghost since version 5 and I'm now using 2002. It is by far the best of the lot and what's more with this version you can back up and restore straight to a CD-RW and using DOS no less!

i have to disagree with ewen. having tried a few versions of ghost a couple of years ago and finding it confusing i switched to drive image and have been using it ever since. i find it simple to use fast and effective. i dont know what i'd do without it.
hello if you only tryed norton ghost a few years ago your behined the times ewens said 2002 is easy to use it is it tranfers driveimage direct to one cd useing high comperssion option. ive used both drive image and norton. and both do a job well but ghost ,s 2002 is the better. in older versions drive image was better. have a nice day

i guess it depends on what you want to do with them and what you are used to. i have ghost 2002 and drive image 3 and 5, i prefer version 3. just because something is the latest does'nt mean its the best. thats like saying xp is better than ME. i dont think it is yet, too many bugs. i just use drive image to back up my c: drive and it does that brilliantly and easily, so why change something thats worked so well for me just for the sake of having "the latest".

drive image 5 beats norton on ease of use, but on compression norton beats drive image i use drive image it really good. But either one will get the job done.
