Comment:

I installed Norton Ghost about a month ago and wonder if should or could make updates to it to give it a current picture/image of my computers status in case I need to use it and bring my computer back to its most current state. I hope I never have to use it but if the time comes I'm sure I'll be glad its installed. Has anyone ever restored their computer using Norton Ghost? Was it hard? How did you do it? I do have the owners manual (didnt see any snapshot/update options) but I learn more reading these forums and I love hearing users experiances.

Go-back has to run all the time, anyone that wants to get the best performance out of their system doesn't want that.

Go-back can cause hard drive thrashing on some systems.
