Norton Ghost Critical Error ME

Trying to restore HD from CD Norton Ghost stops at 34% with a "critical Error" 0x0B Read fault. Any idea as to why? and how to fix it?

Juliette, Not sure what but go to Symantec site and navigate thru >User type>select product>need help Issue not listed>continue to knowledge base.I think there is a further step but that should get u some answers Good luck with it

hello i use and recomend norton ghost its saved me many hours of truble. you might want to do scan disk in dos with a boot disk and check hd integrity.if your hard drive is screwed you wont beable to install ghost image. have a nice day

I agree with the earlier post. Norton Ghost has never restored a single drive w/o errors of some sort, at least in the 5 or so systems I have seen it attempted on. It just does not work as advertised. The same goes for just about everything they make sans the Anti Virus.
