Anybody using Norton antivirus version 4.0 with ME, and any problems???? Not sure if I should get another virus app or not??? Version 4.0 runs good on win98, and I have seen [on this forum] where the newer versions of Norton seem to be resource hogs.

You need to upgrade to the new version AntiVirus 2001. They will not guarantee that earlier versions will work with ME.

Norton A-V 4.0 works fine, don't listen to the sales crap! You should however get a patch for that v4.0 you have at www.symantec.com, to take care of Norton A-V eating 100% of your CPU cycles.

Thanx James, I have installed it and it is working fine butttttttt....I have done an extensive search for the patch you have mentioned, and can not find it, could you please post the exact link to it or at least the file name, it would make my search alot easier.........Thanx again, even if you do not see this post, Thanx, I will keep trying to find the patch....
