When starting up system, there is no video output. the monitor stays in standby mode. System is a Compaq Presario. Used to work fine, just started doing this about 1 week ago. If I unplug power cord, replug in and restart system - then video works. Thanks

WinME doesn't handle power management too well.You're better off disabling all forms of power management via Control Panel and BIOS.Just be glad it worked as long as it did!
