I recently transfered my hard drive from an old computer to a newer one so that I could use all my old saved files. The hard drive I removed had windows XP on it and I replaced it with windows ME.The computer was playing sound fine with XP but now I can't get any sound at all out of it!I can't explain how frustrating it is when you can't listen to your downloaded music while working.:-( Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Does device manager show any problems? Is the sound card integrated into the moterhboard or is it a separate card? Usually if you have loaded the drivers for the sound card, the sound will work fine. Has this been done?
