On Sunday, I lost all my sound on my HP computer. I have the Crystal WDM Audio Codec sound card (i think that's what it is). And i have Morpheus, so when i try to play a song, it says Player Error. Also, my icon on my taskbar is gone. And when i went to the control panel, all the volume options are shaded gray. What do I do? i am a college student and I don't want to but a new modem because of all this! PLEASE HELP! I WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE IT ALOT!

Ok this should prbly fix it :
Turn PC Off, when you turn it back on start tapping on F1 To enter Bios, Stop when you see "entering Setup" when you get to Phinix Bios, hit F5 and Enter, this will restore your defaults, then hit F10 and enter to restart windows. When you boot back into windows you should see "New Hardware Found" and it SHOULD be your sound card.
