I had this happen to my old computer and didn't find out why. Now it has happened to my new one. I just found out I haven't had a system restore point since April? Why does my system stop makingrestore points for me? What can I do to fix this?

ok goto start ,programs ,ascessories then open msdos prompt now type without quotes "scanreg/restore" now u should see 5 restore points choose the nearest registry backup date

indianna jones those are scanreg /restore points your talking about. where as Denma Designs is talking about system restore!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok try going to my computer and uncheck system restore and reboot recheck system restore and reboot . make new restore point. you will lose any previus system restore points. there is a few microsucks articals on this and a patch or two as well. a forum search might find you the links if not may god help you try searching micosucks sight on this.
