We had a power failure the other night, and after the power was restored, I booted up my computer and had no mouse.Anyone have any ideas how to get it back?
What does Device Manager show you when you expend the entry for the mouse. Does it show it present and working. Properties look OK.
Have you checked the cable and all that. Is it one of those rats with a battary in it? Does it work on another system?
Does it work if you boot from an old DOS diskette with a mouse driver. I keep those around for testing the hardware.
