no key board no mouse

ok here we go again, on start up i end up at the cmos setup screen ..with no keyboard function or mouse ..thats it .

Of course you checked to make sure they are plugged in properly to the correct plug ? If its possible for you to get your hand on another keyboard and mouse to swap out and make sure the prob isnt hardware failure ? If that does'nt change the condition ,you need to pop a Windows Me startup disk in your PC and get the exe. for the keyboard and mouse back on your H.D. Good Luck Nickl
