When I turn my laptop on I have a very dim screen. It started this a short time ago, but I was able to correct the problem by closeing and opening the laptop.
... look for the [Function] "Fn" key [bottom left?]
... and on the top row * an enhanced brightness symbol arrow up for brighter, arrow down for darker.
... use "Fn and the other key" together
... or hold in Fn and tap the other Or "vice versa"
