no devices capable of burning disks

i cannot copy any music in media player or for that matter copy any thing to disk. i can only copy to floppy drive. is it possible some one took the hardware cd drive off. thanks for any info. The media player says no devices capable of burning disks the labels on comp say it will copy music. other than this the computer runs fine

Summary: Sal, i would agree with you if Seider's computer would be new, capable of large disk support and ATA 100... but that computer has most probably ATA 66... and that would be a bottle neck and 7200 rpm H...
