My pc boots up then gives me a choice if i would like to start in safe mode when i select safe mode my screen goes blank if i select normal mode it goes blank too.i have the boot disk which has been of little help have tried all instructions on the disk.i have the Win me cd but can not do an install because i cannot not change boot sequence to cd-rom drive.

for getting into bios on bootup to chand boot device. try clicking delete key or f2 or f3
