Comment:

I recently acquired a Nikon digital camera and installed the software that came with it (to download pictures to and edit etc.). The program was 'Picture Project'.

'Nkbmonitor.exe' is listed and checked in Msconfig and 'Nkbmonitor' is listed in ctrl-alt-del.
In add/remove list there is Picture Project and also Nikon Message Center. What is this Message Center? (It doesen't seem like it means a camera).

Can I uncheck this from Msconfig and remove it from ctrl-alt-del or do I need it there because of the camera and software program?

Things seem a bit more sluggish (scans etc.).

Is this spyware or is it pertaining to the camera and software? Thanks in advance.
