ok i had 2 sticks of genetic 256 pc133 my system ran fine...i bought 512 the other day its samsung as soon as i put it in i get errors loading into Win ME i take the 2 256 out it runs and leave the 512 its buggy i put the 2 256 in it runs goo again . is ther something in Win ME that doest recognize the 512 chip? its in the bios even when i get into windows it sees it but i get alot of lock ups andbot errors

Windows ME has problems when you go beyond 512Mb of memory ... of any type.

I am having a similar problem with adding memory and not being able to boot WinME. Win2000 works fine just not WinMe. From what I've learned, so far, it may be linked to my AGP video with 64M RAM. I'll let you know what happens.
