New Sony SDM Hx73 LCD monitor has horizontal gray lines running across the screen in some places. Plue the upper left corner is darker than the rest of the screen. Also, text could look better. Do I need a new graphics card? I am using a 5 yr old computer with nvidia geforce 2 mx 64mb card

Yes, I have been to Sony support and I have called them. I have done the pitch/phase test and I am running in native res at 1280x1024. I have been teaking the menu items, brightness, contrast, etc. to no avail. Good idea, tho. Thanks!
