I recently networked my five computers together. I have a Linksys router/switch and have a cable modem hooked to it. I can access the internet from all the computers including my Laptop, the only computer with windows ME the others have 98. Netscape, Internet explorer, real player and other programs connect to the internet fine on the laptop but aol and outlook wont connect. I think this is because the host computer is running windows 98. Ive tried reinstalling both outlook and aol, adjusting my TCP/IP setting, adjusting my router settings and other things but none have worked. Is there anything I can do that wouldnt invole upgrading my host computer to windows ME?
