OS: Windows ME / 2000
CPU/Ram: P3/128MB
Model/Manufacturer: DELL/OPTIPLEX X1
Comment:
I have an old computer and a new one but I am stuck between them.
Is there a way to network boot a gateway from a dell with a crossover cable because i dont have a switch or a hub..
Dell Optiplex X1, Gateway Mid Tower P4 2.4GHz
I have both running becuase I have the drives mapped on both but I want to boot the gateway off the dell. I know what keys, and what bios settings I need but anything special? any other things im not doing?

Curiousity only injured the cat.
I finished it off..
Muahahaha...

not sure what you mean by 'boot the gateway off of the dell' but, if you are asking if you can network the two together via crossover cable the answer is yes
