I was just wondering if any of you guys have had any problems with Netscape 6 with Win Me. I am sick of Explorer crashing.
Thanx Fallen Angel

Another Netscape 6 problem : Netscape always starts up fine after a fresh (re)boot in Win ME, however, at other times after having worked with the computer, mostly, trying to run Netscape does something invisible in the background (mouse pointer = arrow+busy), but then after 20 seconds or so, the pointer returns to normal. Netscape refuses even to show it's splash screen. Anyone an idea ?

Fallen Angel, i had bad experience with netscape 6 on my windows 98 computer... will not infest with it any of my computers
Marnix, i have similar experience with netscape version 4.7 on all my computers regardless if winodws 98 or ME... when it starts happening back up your bookmarks uninstal netscape... do search for netscape in registry and delete all you find there and then reinstall netscape again... probably will make it good for another 6 months or so
Regards Miro

Hi ya all,
Well..in my opinion, Netscape is the worst browsers. It crash alot, buggy, bloatware and slowest browser I have ever used.
My favourite and default browser is Opera. It is clean, small and as fast as bullet. I have never had any problem with Opera.
My second favourite browser is Internet Explorer (IE). Unlike some other people, I donot have problem with IE. It is stable and runs smooth and support most of the websites.
My suggestion is give Opera a try (it is FREE: www.opera.com) and do not touch NutsCrape browsers.

Thanks for the tips guys, it looks like i will try the opera browser that Sanjaya was talking about. If it runs well i will give it a try and at the worst i'll have to stay with IE 6 which seems to do some strange things sometimes just like Marnix mentioned about Netscape keeping the system busy for some unknown reason...i just want a browser that browses and not one that browses us :).
Thanx Fallen Angel
