need some advice , have xp pro Os , and for cdr/rw which software is better nero 5578 or winoncD 3.8 ?? can i install both??

Personally I like NTI CD Maker 2000 and then NERO, not familiar with other company. If you have never used A CDRW Software program before I would suggest that you go to CNET Downloads or the Companies Wesite. Use each product a 30 day free trial and then make your decision and purchase. These two have the least problems if you are considering an upgrade to XP, even as remote possiblity.

Nero is a much smaller install (something like 12mb vs 75mb) and works great with XP. WinOnCD looks pretty, but conflicts with other apps, such as MusicMatch Jukebox. I believe it also needs an update from its homesite to work right on XP. I'd stick with Nero.

i have used few few diferant burnning programs neros the most truble free ive used and its easy and uses less resources than most others.
the copy of nero i used was not even in english it was german i dont speak it.only had to do a google trans late once with a few words in help. so id say its easy to use .but get the one in enlish unless you like a chalange lol
