i'm wishing to get knew CD-writing software for my CD-writer. I'm currently using Easy CD Creator4, but wish either to get CD Creator5 OR get Nero. Which would be better on WindowsMe and be a better CD-writing program overall? thanks for your help

Ive been an adaptec customer and find it pretty good. I have 4 and have not used 5 yet. However several people i know rave about nero and downloading the current fully functional version 5.5 last week pretty much sold me on it. I cant seem to find any where on the roxio website to download a trial version of easy cd creator but heres the link to nero try out nero and if ya dont like it buy easy cd creator. Good Luck.

NERO! NERO! NERO!
I've tried them both and NERO! has not given me a bit of trouble! More than I can say for that other program.

I've been reading the posts here regularly for several months now, and have seen a number of questions/problems about Easy CD Creator, and very few about Nero. I have Nero and it works great for everything except for copying data (software) CD's. CloneCD does that perfectly - no coasters yet!!! Very few coasters with Nero, all due to human error.

Having tried both I ended up sticking with EasyCD platinum.

Using NERO with CDRWs is a real pain ... unless somebody knows different.

I have used both but Nero gave less trouble but none of them are 100% all of the time. I think burning is a black art. also Eacy Cd wont co exist with nero on my computer but the latest version Easy CD 5 seems to have cured this problem. The packet writing sofware is the prog that causes most of the problems
