Well - I fiddle with Nero to be more precise (for hours and hours). OK - have just about sorted most underruns (although still very tetchy) by tweaking system and options, so can now burn modest ISO data files OK. Have now turned attention to audio. Files rip OK - but wont burn without underrun UNLESS I burn them as data files (same size - everything). Does anyone know how to tease these little monkeys onto a cd as audio files? Do you think an Iomega CD burner would fly If I threw it out of a 1st storey window? Would a Nero CD Rom make a perfect target for Bazuka practice? Answers on the back of a postcard please.

What are your system specs? Are all your files on your hard drive? DMA on?

You could increase your buffer to the max ... or you could burn to an image file first and then burn the image to CD. Have you run the Nero tests to make sure you have your settings at the optimum values? I have tried Nero. Didn't like it and I use Easy CD 5 now.
