Okay, I have a similar problem to that of "storck" I need to know how to get the computers to recognize each other. Where do I look on one computer to view the contents of the other. I have tried "start - find - computer: ... and I type in the name of the computer, but it didn't come up. Am I looking for it right? What should I do? Thank you.
Dinga

need to go to "my network Places"
click on "home networking wizard"
follow instructions, making a floppy copy when prompted then go to TCIP properties
IP address is 192.168.0.1
Subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0for the 1st PC
Then use the floppy on the 2nd PC, then follow as abobe but the TCIP wants to beIP address 192.168.0.2
Subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0Restart and hey presto, you are networked
Hope this helps, other wise drop me a line
Speedy
