I can't seem to get my IE6 running. It either tells me that I have a windows\system\SHDOCLC.DLL\dnserror or IE could not seach page. My dial up is working but it's like the IE doesn't know I am connected as well as some of my other programs such as Outlook express, any messengers I have and other programs that need the internet. Can anyone please help? Thanks

u could try repair your internet explorer to do this . Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs. On the Install/Uninstall tab, click Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, click Add/Remove, click Repair the current installation of Internet Explorer, and then click OK. Are u on dial up or dsl.you could also check in Start run type regedit and go 2 HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/microsoft/internet explorer/main and on right hand side look to see if data entry for search page is http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&ar=iesearch.If not change it right click on searxh page and modify copy and paste into data entry.then look at start page and c if this is something like google or yahoo or whatever hope this helps.
