Hey, I really need help!!!
Whenever I install my Stealth III S540 drivers, I get these orange and yellow vertical lines blocking various parts of my desktop, preventing me from seeing many imoprtant areas. (I GOt A Screenshot here: http://63.249.208.147/images/desktop1.bmp )
At first I thought it was a virus but now understand it is my video card. I am currently running in 640x480; 16 colors; with the default VGA drivers. Only after I install the new drivers and run at higher resolutions I get the problem. There is absolutely no way I'm running in 640x480 for the rest of my life. What should I do? All help is greatly appreciated. Please email me if you can.

First, before you install the drivers, be sure your video adapter is set to Standard VGA. Install the latest drivers and reboot. Set the adapter refresh rate to adapter default, or optimal. If that doesn't work, try using reference drivers instead of Diamond's packaged drivers. If you need them, let me know.

Also, there are certain BIOS settings that work best with Savage 4 chipsets (Your card). Do not shadow the video BIOS. If you need a complete list of the proper settings, email me. The Savage 4 and 2k chipsets can be tricky sometimes.
