I am working on a Win95 PC with a 1.27Gb hdd that I recently compressed using MS Windows Plus! compressor. I've installed a second hdd and want to set up WinME over 95 and save my settings, etc. The setup Wizard won't allow installation on the compressed drive until I uncompress it. The uncompression utility (drivespace 3) starts with a error-checking which reports errors on the compressed drive. I run scandisk and it won't fix the errors because the compression was done by a program that does not support scandisk.
HELP! How do I scan and correct the errors on this compressed drive or how can I uncompress it??
